First, the location is outstanding. Not only is Pacific Heights an amazing place to live, but it is surrounded by other marvelous neighborhoods. Next, homes here are regal and spacious. There’s even a Queen Anne Victorian home built back in 1886 that you can tour. Finally, there are ample places to get outdoors. Within minutes, you can travel to one of two community parks, Presidio of San Francisco or the Bay.

Locals living in Pacific Heights live mere minutes from charming boutiques and restaurants that serve up delicious menu items. Fillmore Street, Polk Street, and Sacramento Street are home to many of the area’s best establishments.

Stroll down Fillmore Street to browse new arrivals at Rothy’s Fillmore, Athleta, Mudpie, MIO, LEXE, Duxiana - The Dux Bed San Francisco, Plants and Friends, and Aqua Forest Aquarium. Nearby, you can pick up daily essentials at Whole Foods Market, Swan Oyster Depot, and Mollie Stone’s Markets.
 

Things to Do

For such a small community, there’s so much to see and experience in Pacific Heights. Spending time in the many green spaces and parks is an especially popular pastime.
 
In the immediate area, you can spend the morning or afternoon at Alta Plaza Park (which features tennis courts, a playground, and breathtaking views) or Lafayette Park (which is dog-friendly and also has tennis courts and a playground). 
 
Just outside of the neighborhood, there are several other not-to-miss spots. Presidio of San Francisco is a beautifully maintained area with numerous amenities. Enjoy the Lovers Lane hiking trails, the Presidio Wall Playground, Simond’s Loop Bird Watching Area, Crissy Field South Beach, Torpedo Wharf fishing pier, House of Air Trampoline Park, Fort Scott Community Garden, and even the Yoda Fountain. Another great park to visit is Alamo Square Park. Located minutes away from Pacific Heights, this locale is the iconic park featured in the introduction to the hit show Full House.
